Traveling During a Pandemic

We know when it comes to lodging, your biggest safety concern is having a clean unit. At Spring Creek Ranch, we are active in maintaining the highest level of cleanliness in accordance with CDC guidelines. 

Other aspects of travel, such as getting here require a bit of careful thought. Using air travel is a personal choice, but nothing says summer like a family road trip! Road trips let you stay in your vehicle, keeping you distant while you travel. 

Of course, with any form of travel, always wear your mask! Jackson is asking our visitors to always have a mask on in public areas where 6ft of distance cannot be reasonably maintained.

Staying in a Self-Contained Lodging

While the inn rooms at Spring Creek Ranch are available, we know many guests will prefer the comfort of having their own, separated space that doesn’t require passing through any common areas. Self-contained lodging means that you’ll have all the amenities you would have at home. A full kitchen lets you cook all of your meals instead of eating out. Common areas such as a living room space let your group relax without being in public. These spaces are ideal spots for safe travel during the pandemic.

While walking around town may look a little different (don’t worry, we are still smiling behind those face masks), many of our famous summer activities and tours are still available. We have additional cleaning, safety, and distancing measures in place, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t come and experience the wild west here in Jackson.

Always be sure to check with your healthcare professional before coming to Jackson Hole. Make sure your doc gives you the go-ahead to travel. Things have changed quickly in the past few months, so be sure to check with local travel regulations. Always be prepared to follow the rules wherever you are headed this summer season. 

Be prepared to have an alternate plan if you arrive at an area and it’s busy. There are plenty of hidden gems in Jackson to explore. Our staff is more than happy to suggest an alternate location to keep you safe and away from the crowds.
