Spring Skiing for the Whole Family

Spring skiing anyone? Voted one of the top 10 family resorts in the country, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) offers skiing for the whole family….or there’s also the opportunity to drop the kids at the world famous Kids’ Ranch so Mom and Dad can hit the bigger mountain (or perhaps enjoy an early cocktail at the top of the Bridger Gondola). If you’ve got beginners, you can save big by purchasing a lower mountain lift ticket — it’s only $20 for adults and $10 for kids and includes both the Teewinot Life and the Sweetwater Gondola (which means easy access to the rustic Casper lodge for lunch). There’s also a kids only adventure map for exploring the whole mountain, and JHMR offers everything from daycare to go pro teen camps — just be careful, your kids may never want to leave!

 

Wildlife & Spring Activities

Springtime also means plenty of opportunities to search out wildlife with your family. You can snowshoe or snowbike (an activity geared more toward teens) in Grand Teton National Park to catch sightings of elk, moose, bison, eagles, and even bears — so don’t forget to ask our concierge for Bear Spray to carry with you at all times! For the best wildlife viewing around, consider taking in Grand Teton National Park or Yellowstone National Park via one of our custom wildlife safari packages. Your naturalist will guide you to wildlife hotspots, help you identify the newborns of many species, and point out migratory wildlife on the move.
