Jackson Hole Mountain Resort 2018/2019 Opening Day and More Early Season Fun
The word is out! With all of the wintery temperatures and early dustings, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is ready for the 2018/2019 ski season and we couldn’t be more excited about it! There’s plenty of new terrain to explore this year so wax those skis and sharpen your edges, it’s time to play in the powder!
When does Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Open this Year?
The snow is falling and there’s plenty of it piling up along the Teton Range. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort just announced it’s opening day for its 53rd season. Drum roll please…Thanksgiving Day 2018! On November 22nd, 2018 the Aerial Tram is open for sightseeing rides.
On Saturday, November 24th the chairlifts will start spinning. So come on out this Thanksgiving weekend. Check out the view and get some turns in on those newly waxed skis.

New Learning and Lounging at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
This year, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort plans to open its much-anticipated Solitude Station. Hop on the Sweetwater Gondola for a quick, two-minute ride to the Solitude Station. This area is complete with a lodge, rentals, and the new home for the Mountain Sports School. Complete with a stat-of-the-art learning area, Solitude Station is the spot for kids and families to learn how to improve their skiing or riding. The focus is to empower and uplift both skiers and riders so they can tackle Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s unmatched terrain.
Aside from a world-class learning area, Solitude Station also has delicious dining options and a rental area. For those looking to learn, Solitude Station is the base camp for your Jackson Hole Mountain Resort experience.

New Base Area Bar and Kitchen RPK 3 to Open
Looking for the perfect perch for apres? Snag a seat at RPK 3 this December. Located in Teton Village, this new dining experience offers a fast-casual lunch so you can hit the slopes in a jiffy. Stop by after an epic pow day and relax with extensive apres options centered around a huge bar and inviting fireplace.
At RPK 3 comfort food is king, but don’t worry there are plenty of “healthy-ish” choices for every appetite.
