Add to that the fact that ski ticketing in Jackson has entered the digital age. The J Pass is a smart card sporting RFID technology. Just order your J Pass seven days before hitting the slopes for the first time and pop it in your jacket pocket. The $5 purchase fee for the card gives you the freedom to load the pass at will, enter the lift gates without fumbling for paper tickets and hit the slopes double-quick.
