A Day at Jackson Lake – Winter Fishing in Jackson Hole

For the fisherman that can’t wait until the boat ramps are clear there is another type of winter recreation that can be had on top of the ice. There is no better place to be than on the ice at Jackson Lake.

We started our day hoping for the snowmobile to start, but with the sun beaming off the snow, and thoughts of big lake trout we had to go. We packed up the sleds and headed out to one of our favorite spots.

The fishing was incredible. We spent the day at the base of the Tetons trying to decide who was the better anlger, and planning the fish fry we were going to have!
